Oak Bowery Baptist Church was organized September 6, 1852, as Oak Bowery Missionary Baptist Church. Originally a church plant to the Middleton Community near Ohatchee, Oak Bowery is a member church of the Southern Baptist Convention. The Bible is our authority for faith and practice, and the church accepts the Baptist Faith and Message 2000.
Our Mission is simple: "As members of Oak Bowery Baptist Church we are Loving Jesus, Loving others, and Leading others to love Jesus too."
Right now you can worship with us Live-In-Sanctuary, or via Facebook Live Stream at 10:00am Sunday Mornings, 6:00pm Sunday Evenings, and 6:00pm Wednesday Evenings.
Our Adult Sunday School Classes have joined together and are distancing in the Fellowship Hall during the 9:00am Sunday Morning Hour. Youth and Children's Sunday School are also meeting in the Worship Center classrooms with similar precautions.

Our Church encourages people to grow in their faith. We look to support each other in taking action in our fellowship and in our surrounding community.
The message of Oak Bowery is not a new one. The Bible says, "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life." Have you ever received God's gift of Love through Jesus Christ? If not, then you can have an honest conversation with God right now. Admit that you are a sinner, believe that Jesus died on the cross and rose from the grave for you, and confess Jesus as you Lord and Savior. If you received Jesus as Lord today, or if you already are a believer, come fellowship with us this Sunday. We would love for you to worship the Lord with us.
Partaking in our community allows us to understand and confront situations and learn and prosper from them together.
